1. Definitions

  • “Platform” refers to Learnhao, the online service facilitating course creation and purchases.
  • “Instructor” refers to a user who creates and sells courses on the Platform.
  • “Student” refers to a user who purchases and accesses courses.
  • “Commission” refers to the percentage of the course sale retained by the Platform.

2. Account Registration

  • Users must be at least 18 years old to register.
  • Instructors and Students must provide accurate and complete information during sign-up.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

3. Instructor Responsibilities

  • Instructors own the rights to their course content but grant the Platform a license to market and sell it.
  • Courses must comply with legal and ethical guidelines. No inappropriate, illegal, or infringing content is allowed.
  • Instructors agree to the commission structure and will receive payouts according to the Platform’s schedule.
  • Instructors must have subject expertise; lacking it may impact their eligibility for compensation.

4. Student Responsibilities

  • Purchased courses are for personal use only and may not be resold or shared.
  • Refunds, if applicable, are subject to our Refund Policy.
  • Students acknowledge that course quality and content are the responsibility of the instructor.

5. Payments and Commission

  • The Platform processes payments securely through third-party providers (e.g., Stripe, PayPal).
  • A commission and admin fee is deducted from each sale before paying the instructor.
  • Payouts to instructors are made on a regular schedule (e.g., monthly).

6. Intellectual Property

  • Instructors retain rights to their course content but grant the Platform a license to display and distribute it.
  • Users may not copy, distribute, or modify course materials without written permission.

7. Refund Policy

  • Refunds are granted in accordance with our separate Refund Policy.
  • The Platform reserves the right to approve or deny refund requests based on the circumstances.

8. Termination of Accounts

  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity.
  • Users may delete their accounts, but commissions and transactions completed before termination remain binding.

9. Disclaimers and Liability

  • The Platform is not responsible for the accuracy or quality of course content.
  • We are not liable for losses arising from the use of the Platform, except as required by law.
